Tested by Team VMG, and used by Terrene Black and Josh Riccio in their record breaking 2019 M2O victories
The VMG blades EVA deflector stops water from entering the Dugout when pushing hard downwind, or paddling out through the waves.
The Deflector is stuck down with double sided tape, there’s no need to remove it ever, as it also acts as padding between boards when you’re stacking on you’re rooftop.
A 45 degree angle has been shaped into the leading edge to deflect water down and away, and the cuts in the deflector are designed to allow the deflector to bend and fit any deck shape.
